Dr. Ronald Chitatanga
Founder and Principal Consultant
Public Health, Policy and Implementation Science
Ronald Chitatanga is a medical doctor, epidemiologist, and public health advisor with extensive experience in health systems strengthening, infectious disease epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance, policy development, implementation science, surveillance systems, and strategic public health advisory services.
His professional experience spans clinical practice, national public health programs, donor-funded initiatives, and government institutions, providing him with a unique perspective on translating evidence into policy and implementation at national, regional, and international levels. He currently leads the Health Systems and Policy Advisory Unit.
Kisa Mwangonde

Digital Health and Innovation
Kisa Mwangonde is an Information Technology specialist with expertise in digital health systems, health information technologies, systems implementation, and digital transformation.
She has extensive experience supporting the design, deployment, and management of digital innovations within the health sector, having worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to implement large-scale digital health solutions that strengthened pharmaceutical and vaccine supply chain management across Malawi. She has led the deployment and technical support of digital platforms serving more than 2,000 healthcare workers, delivered nationwide capacity-building initiatives, and provided technical consultancy services to United Nations agencies in digital systems implementation, health information management, and technology adoption.

Ms. Thokozani Marie

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
| Thokozani Chitatanga is a results-focused monitoring and evaluation professional with experience designing M&E frameworks, strengthening programme monitoring systems, supporting data collection and analysis, and translating programme data into actionable insights for leadership and partners. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Malawi Institute of Management and a BSc in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from the Malawi College of Accountancy. Her professional experience includes monitoring and evaluation work with Lydia Action, where she led M&E initiatives, database management, data analysis and reporting, and supported programme teams to use evidence for decision-making. She also brings practical experience in portfolio performance analytics, reporting, growth optimisation, compliance, and data-driven performance management from digital banking. At AHE, she leads the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Unit, with a focus on results frameworks, programme performance, learning systems, data quality, reporting, and organisational learning. |

Legal & Regulatory Advisory
A Malawian legal professional and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) graduate with experience providing legal and regulatory consulting services to individuals, businesses, and organisations.
As Lead of AHE’s Legal & Regulatory Advisory Unit, he focuses on helping organisations understand and navigate the legal and regulatory environments within which they operate. His work supports clients to identify regulatory requirements, strengthen organisational compliance systems, review policies and governance arrangements, assess regulatory risks, and make informed decisions when establishing or expanding programmes, businesses, and partnerships.
The Unit provides practical legal and regulatory advisory support, including regulatory landscape and compliance assessments, organisational governance advisory, policy and regulatory review, business and programme compliance guidance, contractual and partnership advisory, regulatory risk identification, and support in navigating relevant registration, licensing, and statutory requirements. His role complements AHE’s technical, health, development, research, and organisational advisory services by ensuring that clients can translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical systems, policies, and decisions that support responsible and sustainable operations.

Data Analytics and Automation
| Bob Banda is a data, automation, reconciliation, and process-improvement professional whose experience combines operational analytics, Python and SQL, reporting, SOP development, and team training. He currently works in an automation and reconciliation leadership role and has progressed through scheme administration and supervisory responsibilities. He also has experience training teams, documenting standard operating procedures, and using data to identify operational improvements. At AHE, he leads the Data Analytics & Automation Unit, supporting clients to improve data workflows, automate repetitive reporting and reconciliation tasks, develop practical analytics solutions, and strengthen staff capability in data and automation. |
